What exactly is EffektAI and how is it different from a normal way of working?
A written methodology lives in a document. EffektAI is a running platform — it reads your existing systems, runs five quality checks on everything before it ships, coordinates the AI systems doing the build work, and keeps a full record of every change and why it was made. When a consultant leaves, a written methodology leaves with them. When an Effektiv engagement closes, EffektAI transfers to your repo. The platform stays.
Do we need to understand EffektAI in detail to work with Effektiv?
No. Most clients come to us because they have a problem to solve — a legacy system to replace, brittle processes breaking down, a product to ship. EffektAI is how we deliver that outcome. You'll see its outputs — the findings, the quality check results, the audit trail — without needing to operate the platform yourself.
What does 'the platform transfers to you at the end' actually mean?
On the last day of every engagement, we hand over: the quality-check code as a runnable part of your own repo, the full audit trail (every change made and why), the configuration files, the architectural decisions, and the runbooks for anything automated. You own and can run all of it without us. There's no licence fee, no ongoing platform subscription, and no dependency on our infrastructure.
How do the quality checks work?
Every change goes through five checks before it ships: does it match what was specified, is every line logged and traceable, does it introduce any known security risks, are the new parts tested, and do any new dependencies carry licence or supply-chain risk. All five have to pass before a human signs off. This whole setup ships to you at the end and keeps running on any future change.
What infrastructure does EffektAI run on and where does our data go?
EffektAI runs on cloud infrastructure based in Sydney. AI processing stays within Australian jurisdiction — model calls don't leave the country. Your code, data, and configuration are stored in Australian data centres and never transit overseas. That's built into how the system works, not just a policy on paper. We can provide the architecture and data flow diagrams on request.
Is EffektAI available as a standalone product we can license?
Not currently. EffektAI is the platform behind Effektiv engagements — it isn't sold separately as a product or licensed to third parties. Every engagement includes the platform, and it transfers to you at the end as described above. If you're interested in a different arrangement, talk to us directly — we're open to considering it in specific cases.
Which AI models does EffektAI use, and are we locked into one provider?
EffektAI is model-agnostic — it currently runs on AWS Bedrock (Sydney), Anthropic Claude, and Google Gemini, all on Australian infrastructure, and can be reconfigured as better models become available. You are never locked into a single vendor's roadmap or pricing.
